Watts produce the same heat be it an LED or hid. The reason leds are so good is because basically you only need 500w of led to equal 1000w of hid. More or less. Therefore half the power, half the heat. Often the problem is not enough heat after switching. Plants under leds like temps around 80f...
If I lift anything over 40 lbs
word. The guy at my hydro store will break it in half for me. Makes it a lot more manageable. Maybe it you ask them nicely....
I have a blue labs pen and I calibrate it once/month. Your soil has buffers in it so measuring the ph of the run off may not give you an accurate reading of the ph going in. I grew in pro mix and Botanicare. Ph 6.3 of everything going in.
Looks like a lock out due to a ph issue. I ran Botanicare. My old fix it: flush with ph’d water then feed half strength nutes.
The other tip is to use the grow instead Of the bloom for the first two weeks of flower. Then switch to the bloom for week 3.
There are two types of growers: those that have had spider mites, and those that haven't had spider mites yet. Easy enough to get rid of but you must be diligent and make sure they're gone before flower. If you get them in flower for the most part you're done. Neem and dr. bronners, method 1...
I have an hlg 260 in a 2x4x5 and it’s almost too much. I have 300w (6) of cobs in a 3x3 as well. I find the cobs to be a “softer” light and the plants can take more, sooner. I veg under t5’s and when I transition to led’s I keep it at about 50% and only into flower do I start ramping it up...
Every time I log on here there’s always someone that’s worried about sending the $ or getting their order. Every time. Over the past 3 years I’ve ordered probably 5x and goes smoothly. Sending American $ from Canada tracked no signature.
And every time the person is blown away by the service...
