3 days isn't all that long for some plants to show roots ime.. some clones can take any where from 7 to 14 days or so to root..
i'm far from an nft grower, sorry m8, maybe check into the hydro section on here and someone with a bit more

watt's your setup m8,. hydro, soil, soiless, etc, etc? you running clones or starting from seeds?
