    Foxfarm soils run acidic.

I thought this article on the Pro-mix site was interesting, I was wondering if this applies to FF or other soil mixes as well? https://www.pthorticulture.com/en/training-center/low-ph-of-fresh-growing-media/?fbclid=IwAR29ZYcO15dcmw-EE9bJ0jEyDHIj3N3lLp4fvVEyL5A3DBJHWxgZsMpPSEo

How are you measuring your PH? Meter, drops, strips? Make absolutely sure your PH measurements are 100% accurate, that always should be addressed first before making any deficiency adjustments.

Think I have a Cal Deficiency....

I've done a lot of research in the past couple months and everything I find in books, charts and around the net says calcium uptake in hydro is best at a ph of 6.2 or around 6.0 to 6.5. The chart you posted is the only source I can find that states under 5.8 being the optimum range. I'm a...

Can you run a recirculating reservoir for 2 weeks...?

Don't mean to hijack the op's thread but as a noobie wasn't sure where to get help getting a definitive answer to this. What exactly does a rising or falling ec and ph levels mean. From what reading I've done, mostly from internet sites like these, I can't seem to get a definite answer, hope...

Flowering a month from seeds popped

Hey flowerman, looking good. A little update, it's day 52 since flip for me. I had to tie a few of the tallest colas to the side, they were starting to get light burn and maybe a little foxtailing on a few buds. Got too close to my led, ran out of height. I think I have 2 weeks or a little more...

I'm just a noob here, but I thought copper tubing in a Rez with an acidic solutionis a big no no? Wouldn't that leach too much copper into the Rez, that's why the expensive chiller's have titanium or stainless steel coils.

Flowering a month from seeds popped

Looking good flowerman, just a little update from my end. I think we're both on day 40 since 12/12 flip I believe. I also think like they should have bulked up a little more by now, but as a noob on his first grow, I'm not sure? Here's a few pics I took today to show you were I am. Hope all is...

Flowering a month from seeds popped

Thanks Mike, and thanks for all the good advice. I will try want I'm able to still do this grow, like some selctive pruning to open up some bud sites to receive a little more light. I'll try some of the other techniques on my next grow and try and get things more dialed in. Thanks again mate!

Think I have a Cal Deficiency....

Hey Jypsy Dog, newbie here that's a little confused by all the ph charts. I've noticed on the 420 magazine chart that it shows Ca range as 4.8 to 5.9, this contradicts all the other charts I have seen. What gives? Just a noob that is a little confused by this. Here's two other charts I'm...

Flowering a month from seeds popped

Looking good flowerman, i switched to 12/12 the day after you, so I'm day 34 into flower now. I think things are going good so far as this is my first grow and don't have much experience to compare it to. Before anyone says it's a jungle and I should have done some defloliation by now, after...

    Nute burn? Or light burn?

Sorry for all the questions, should I cut some of them fan leaves on the canopy to better expose some of the bud sites to light, or would that be more harmful to the plant at 3 1/2 weeks into flower.

    Nute burn? Or light burn?

Not sure if this is nute burn or maybe light burn. It's only showing on the very tips of leaves on the canopy level mostly. Day 25 into flower at 12/12, it started showing up 10 days ago with my last rez change with technaflora nutes at 2/3 strength of their chart for flower. Ppm at 1050 with...

Help fam. Is this a Ph problem? *w/ pics*

A water softener uses ion exchange to operate, most use sodium in the form of salt pellets. They remove calcium and magnesium ions and replace them with sodium, thus making this water way too high for growing or even making beer for that matter. You may want to look into a R/O system or buying...
