Okay i Germinated my seed and it sprouted and was planted the 16th of February. right now it is in a 5 gallon bucket... it is at about 8 inches tall... the stem is nice and big these were the last pics taken about 2 weeks back.. http://i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu89/Julyyy45/MJ002-1.jpg...

it looks from from my point..my first grow was about the same as yours..mine had a green stem though..red are stressed..so make sure to keep limited water and know how to light it since its in a delicate stage...but for the most part youll see a good change in a month watch...

i was told purp stem is when its cold...and my leaves bent up with the light...wish means your probably givin it to much...take light a little further just a little not much...im a first time grower aswell..happy growin!

Soo the DOB was Feb 16th 2011. its when it sprouted and was planted onto soil...its Basically all organic..just has pot mix and cow shit...and been on water forever... im just curious..my little branches have leaves growing between the stem and branch and its not getting light..do i just let em...

So My Plant Is Growing well so far..and its raining out here in southern california...theres a few things though...theres rumors about rain being acid because of the nuclear thing in japan.. andd theres people that argue that it doesnt do much... since cali is polluted i dont want to risk...

as a first time grower im wanting to know what makes the bud the DANKIEST GOOEYIST STICKIEST STRONG SMELLING bud ever? my plant is unknown..most likely kush...it was planted on FEB 16th after germination..right now its about a one footer if not less.. it has a few leafs..not the full on mj leaf...

honestly im a first grower..and ti'll now its been organic for me...dont put nutes...like one of the posters..use it 3weeks after..

okay soo i got some bettafish they have tap water in them and like it has a filter...thats about it? its good to jack there water and put it on my plant? i mean how better is it than reg. water? thanks!

i was told that fish water from where fish swim is good to water a plant with? its weird and i need a see? lol

i plan to get a Y Socket..and another user recommended me these CFL's so ill put these on the socket and with it i should be able to have light hitting the sides..other than that..as it grows ill add in things such as a carbon filter and all that...so far its all organic..i dont have fertilizer...

well i cant put it in the ground..but i will consider repotting and raising the soil to fix the stretch issue and thee light is about 2-3inches at the moment. and as far as that goes thanks man..really appreciate your time and help..anything else you can advise me with?

well the first pic posted is my current set up..im just using a CFL. lighting schedule is from 6:45-7:00AM to 10:30ish PM. thats about 18 hours..so i got the 18/6 going. lighting is a 23W CFL 1600Lumens. and it is stressed..i dropped my plant and managed to recover with out causing severe...
