Yung has it, it's the seed casing. Grab it, and pull it off so the leaf under it can help soak the light and grow.....and yes, it's doing more harm than good sitting there. Eventually it will fall off anyway as those little leaves die.

Actually, I don't normally use CFL's till towards the end. I have 4 twin tube 4 foot shoplight fixtures in there. (Along with the smaller stuff) It was all about money when I built it. I'll be ordering a pair of 250W HPS's soon enough to get the flowering up to par. The reason I need a pair...

Total wattage is around 470-490 right now. Near flowering time it gets up to 520-540 if I add extra filler lights.

Unfortunately, I have a habit of only taking pics of the tops. I'll have to change that in the future. Also, like an idiot, I never took pics of the whole harvest. I was harvesting over the course of a couple weeks, and I only took pics of a few small buds towards the end...
