Working With Consultant/Grower, Can You Please Tell Me What You Think Of This Advice?

Use Gnatrol at 1TBLS per gallon when you transplant into new soil. This stuff is magic for fungus gnats. Use that amount for every watering for the first 1-2 weeks, then back off to 1/4 tsp/gal every few waters as a preventative. You need to kill the larve or you'll never stop them.

    Experienced Grower Advice

I don't add peat into my soil mixes just because i start with the roots organic original as a base, which already has a great ratio of peat and coco in it. No need to reinvent the wheel, just add some spokes you know. I add a bunch of amendments to the bag of roots, a fairly long list, basically...

Working With Consultant/Grower, Can You Please Tell Me What You Think Of This Advice?

Yo homie, welcome. Sounds like a fun undertaking. I've seen a lot of good advice so far from others here. 1. I have used Bluemat before for a similar size grow, but I stopped using them after 1 round. I just found them finicky and they never seemed to give me the even moisture level I wanted...

    Nitrogen? Overwatering?

For soil I personally like roots organic original, it has always outperformed side by side trials with ocean forest for me and others I’ve seen, but the difference is small. I notice a better and more full bud structure in roots. For food I’d start with adding a few dry amendments like 1tbls...

    Can Somebody help me out?

Yo man, sorry busy week for me. Hell yeah, glad to see them looking good. I don’t have a grow diaries account but I’m going to start one

    Nitrogen? Overwatering?

Yo homie, sorry for the late reply! Been a busy ass week. Did she respond well? Some extra nutes from the earwig, lol, awesome. Sounds like you made a decent nutrient mix. The only other thing you could do is be adding some extras like humic/fulvic acids and some carbs like trinity or Humboldt...

    Can Somebody help me out?

Nice man, glad I could help. Yeah that pH can sometimes drift off on you quickly. I'm sure the soil pH was fine when you got it, the fertilizers and water inputs can bring it down or up. Did you test the runoff EC by chance? Id just go strait into a good quality coco next time or do an amended...

    Nitrogen? Overwatering?

Hey, no problem man, glad to help. Yeah i'd feed this water and do the plain calmag water next water. If your tap water is good quality with low ppm you can use it, I have in many grows. Letting water sit out will help evaporate the chlorine, but chloramines, fluoride, copper, and other things...

    Nitrogen? Overwatering?

Sounds like your doing a good job of trying to be on top of things. Yeah id back the light off a little to like 750-800 without C02, but like I said I don't see any bleaching, you might be able to leave it like triplefast said and see if just the feed helps. A common practice for watering soil...

    Nitrogen? Overwatering?

Your ppfd might be a little high like crimso said if your not using C02. I’d try be closer to 700, maybe 800, but I don’t see any obvious light bleaching. I will say they for sure look like they just need food, id start with that a pH of 6.5. Ocean forest only has enough food for a few weeks or...

Better to Force in More Cool Air or Crank up the Exhaust Fan

I Positive pressure is better except for smell like others said. I think you got it right on. Turn down the exhaust and turn up the intake. The positive pressure helps with temp and humidity like your finding out and also can help keep air borne stuff out. I’d recommend also putting a carbon...

    Can Somebody help me out?

Yeah I’d say just use R/O water. When you’re feeding with “plain water” just add .25-.5ml/gal calmag or so to the r/o and use that and definitely pH adjust to 6.4-6.5. Still do your 6.2 pH feeds, this way there is some pH drift. That swing gives more access to different nutrients. I’d do that...

    Can Somebody help me out?

Hey, ok good to know about soil, so your in a soiless mix. Cool, I'll have to check out the grow diary. I have another thread on here with some pictures and other advice too. That terra aquaitca seems like decent stuff, but is potent at 16% calcium and 4% magnesium. Botanicare calmag is like...
