in ideal indoor conditions, i wouldn't be surprised to see 3 week old plants that were 6-10 inches tall. those are ideal conditions. you're growing outdoors, so i'm not worried that your plants are only 4-5 inches tall. they sound fine - just post some pics and give them nutes high in nitrogen...

all you have to do is take clones continually. it's a bit of work, but this way, you can always have the mother plant, then just periodically take clones from the mother and flower them. this way, you can just skip the entire vegetative stage. that saves you about 7 or 8 weeks. once you harvest...
