when you plants get big and start blocking light from reaching the bottom of the plant do you let them fall or snip them?

I was wondering about adding nutes when you top off water. Should you add new nutes everytime you top off water or just so often and if so how often because i hear its good to just top off water so the plant takes the nutes that it didnt take before?

yes but if you got it off and it didnt pertrude the top of your soil you should be fine.

is your problem the top pic or bottom?

the first pic is hydro so it cant be overwatering and the second one is soil and its not overwatering and the lamp is air cooled with fans cooling it so i doubt its that either but thanks.

Yes but if you just top it off wont there be missing nutrients if the plant takes up more N than P or K then you will be lacking nutes?

So im running a dwc unit with a 400mh light and a few leaves are curling on the plant. This is the only visable problem accept for old calcium def. The ph is fine and so is the ppm. Any advice? :peace:

There is parts of my leaves missing( chunks out of the side, and holes). As for the big one the ph is 7-7.5 and im giving it about 750 ppm of dutchmaster gold a&b and calamag every other watering and i water every 2-3 days.

I might have bugs but cant see them on a dwc unit im running. The temp gets down to 63 ish degrees at night. Is that enough to kill them off? And i also have a plant in soil with leaves that are yellowing and browning in between the veins of the leaves; what might that be also?
