Nug density in a 400 watt HPS 4x2x5 SCROG.

I grow in a 4x2x7 cabinet in my garage with a 400W MH/HPS. I don’t bother air cooling the light since I’m in growing in a garage in Northern Alberta I actually need the heat. I change the heat of the garage so that the intake air + the heat from the light puts me where I want to be temp wise...

    THC to CBN

You could always age some THC laden MCT oil for a year and let it naturally degrade. I made some super potent infused MCT oil a couple years ago. I did my usual lick the spatula clean when I was cleaning up and got high as fuck. I’m not sure why but I decided to hide two vials of the freshly...

    Early finishers

Check out Jordan of the Islands. He’s based on Van Island and has a good section of outdoor genetics. He gives you 12 free seeds with every order too.

Black Candyland by J.O.T.I/Seed Junky genetics

Did you get a couple different phenos? I grew black candy land last winter and got one more indica pheno with super dense buds and one sativa leaning pheno with average bud density but larger yield. I preferred the indica personally, I’ve never grown rock hard nugs before that run. It’s...

    RDWC Buckets in Canada?

I had non stop root rot issues. I took my plants out of the rdwc system and planted them in an organic soil and managed to save them. I have been growing organic ever since.

Purple Urkle crossed with God Bud AKA: PURPLE GOD BUD

Absolutely great gear. I grew out his Black Candyland last year and it was fantastic smoke. I crossed both phenos I got to a landrace Afghani male so that should prove interesting.

Purple Urkle crossed with God Bud AKA: PURPLE GOD BUD

Late to this party but Jordan of the islands is the originator of God Bud. This is the closest I could find on his site: https://jordanoftheislands.ca/product/gods-grand-double-purple-12-regular-seeds-per-pack/

    Rootstock graft

i suppose you could veg out a rootstock plant and then graft several scions on to the rootstock plant while keeping a few leafy branches on the root stock plant to keep it alive. it would be far quicker just to grow from seed and forgo the grafting. grafting is useful for slow growing plants...

    Malana Cream?

Very nice plants and very inspiring! After seeing this I‘m going to give some Kumaoni freebies a try when my current batch of Siberian landrace (also from real seed co.) finishes up. I’m growing 4 Siberian in a seed run for use in future pollen chucking projects I’ve got planned.

Moving plants inside from outside question

I moved my last remaining outdoor plant into my garage a couple weeks ago for reasons similar to yours. My garage is heated but I’m cheap and didn’t think I needed to turn the heater on since it was still between 9-12°C in the garage. My plant stalled completely. It’s in week 11 of flower so I...

Fat round calyxes at top of colas

It’s got to be a genetic thing with that one plant. I occasionally get some weird airy buds when I grow out some of my homemade crosses. You can still smoke the buds, just don't use that Pheno for breeding. If it were an environmental issue all your plants would be exhibiting the same problem.

    Noob q - finish indoors?

I’m finishing my one remaining plant inside my garage. We are getting rain and cold temps so I can’t risk bud rot. Be careful moving a large plant. The branches might be able to take the wind, but picking it up and carrying it ( or in my case dragging it) it pretty violent on it. I broke off a...

    Kwik seeds?

Well a year later I finally bought the Siberian and Lebanese landraces from Kwik. I figured I’d should update this post in case anyone searches for it. Great shipping to Canada, it only took a couple weeks from the UK. Top shelf stealth. It took me a few mins to find the seeds in my package...

Need some mentoring please: First time grow for experienced gardener

Are you feeding your plants any fertilizers? There are lots of micronutrients and trace elements required for plant growth that are lacking from just manure and peat (perlite is inert, it’s just there for drainage/aeration). Head over to the organics forum and look at a couple recipes for...
