    Seed confusion

You can backross to the original parent whenever you want. Back crossing is mostly for locking down certain traits/phenotypes. For example, the male has a thin sharp leaf structure, and the female has a fat leaf structure. Lets say that all of F1 plants inherited the fat leaf pheno, and your...

    Seed confusion

If this is your first attempt at making seeds, dont overthink it. Select a good looking male and cross it with every female that you like. Dont bother trying to stabilize any phenos, or making an IBL. Once you grow out a few dozens seeds of your F1 crosses, you will get a better idea of whats...

F1 Purp Valley Ice x SSH

I was in the greenhouse checking on the F1 plants and one of them turned out to be a male. I took the top and decided to propagate it. I will use it to make F2 seeds.

Wtf with my clones?? What am I doin wrong??

Ive rooted clones in many different mediums. Peat moss always causes yellowing. It doesn't really matter, imo. Once they develop roots, all they need is a little fertilizer to get them healthy and on track. Different mediums in combination with different strains/plants is just a few of the...

F1 Purp Valley Ice x SSH

I shuffled 7 plants into the flower tent. They are all looking a bit hungry, but all in all they did well in those quart containers. There are 4 unique plants that I have high hopes for. One of them seems to be a uniform fusion of both strains. I will take more detailed pictures of the plants...

Thriving to Struggling Overnight — Need Eyes on My Setup

When I see those colors and patterns on my plants, its always 3 things. Over watering, ph to acidic, needs more Nitrogen. I fix it by allowing the pots to dry out to the point where the plants are getting a little wilted, then I feed and water. I am growing in soil, but I think the same...

Sealed Tent, Living Soil & The Quest For Fire

Your indoor set up was looking really good. Sucks that the whole grow had to get scrapped. Your first crop turned out amazing. Hopefully the next run goes smoothly.

Vigorous sativas for a northern climate?

Have you looked into auto flower sativas? Might be a good fit for your climate.

Thriving to Struggling Overnight — Need Eyes on My Setup

Makes me wonder if fabric pots have a similar issue. Salt build ups in the fabric causing ph issues and locking out the macros. Interesting.

Thriving to Struggling Overnight — Need Eyes on My Setup

I watched a video to get a general understanding of its flood/drain system. Its supposed to give the plant time to breathe for at least an hour before it floods the tray again. From my experience, your plant looks over watered and a little hungry for more N. Check to make sure that your system...

Easiest way to grow quality cannabis

I use Black Gold soil and Down to Earth dry amendments. Blood meal and fish bone meal. I also top dress with Jobes 4-4-4 slow release pellets. Its a similar concept. The only thing I do different is that I don't let the soil cook. I transplant straight into the hot mix. Its a good way to assess...

    Seedlings

Are you growing in coco? I would wait until the plant has 3 sets of leaves, then transplant.

    Organic Vs. Synthetic Nutrients

Ive grown both synthetic and organic. From my experience, the organic grown flower produces a more nuanced high. The analogy Dr. Pepper vs Homemade root beer. Its all preference.
