Hey guys,
I had to make this post to thank everyone on this site. I've struggled with neck and shoulder pain for a while and never wanted to take opiates. I used to go to the chiropractor but it barely helped and it was expensive AF. It got really bad to the point I couldn't sleep, it was always...

Corey I think you and I are the only people who agree on cheap tents on this site! Everybody says they rip and break and you need a gorilla tent and blahblahblah. I've had three no name brand tents that were literally the cheapest ones available on Amazon... Never had a single issue.
I would probably say just a 2x2 tent for a 300W LED. Here is a really basic beginner setup with everything bought off of amazon:

That's actually a good point and I didn't think you were being a dick haha. I just think my setup is super easy and cheap for beginners and I think the yield is comparable to the alternatives you and others presented. I didn't mean to ramble on in my post but my point is basically that people...
Have you done an actual side by side comparison? I have done one and that was not the case. I'm not saying Mars Hydro is the best I'm just saying that people on this site who spend twice as much on their setup do not produce twice the yield and twice the quality. I'm not saying others advice is...
I use a rotation so I have two sets of plants in my flower tent at any given time. I usually harvest 13-16 oz dry weight per harvest. So, I get up to a pound dry weight from a 2x4 area. I'm not saying my setup is the best, I'm just saying its a perfect fit for beginners.
Here is the setup I use with really great results:

I use MarsHydro lights and have great results. You can keep it cheap and simple and still have great results so don't be discouraged! I...
You are going to need a whole bunch of those lights for 12 plants. Since you said you can grow 12 I'm guessing you live in Massachusetts? Me too! Here are some possible setups you can use. My friends (and their friends) kept asking me to help them pick out equipment so I finally just made a...
You will probably want to do just an exhaust fan and if you live in an apartment you will definitely need a carbon filter. As the person above you stated, a 4" fan is kind of overkill but you can't get one any smaller. Therefore, just get a speed controller and set the fan on low speed, this...
Here is everything I had for my 2x4 tent:

Here is everything I have for my current setup...
In my humble opinion I would say to get two MarsHydro 300W LED lights for that grow space. A 2x4 tent would probably be better shaped for the two light setup though. You can get two MarsHydro lights for the price of one high end 300W LED and in my experience it will do better. In my 4x4 tent I...
Also, I live in the Northeast too and you can definitely wait on getting a dehumidifier, humidifier, heater or AC unit. I got a heater and a humidifier when I bought my first setup and my tent ended up having a perfect grow environment without any devices help. I also wouldn't bother getting a...
Here is my setup that I use:
https://growpotma.wordpress.com/2018/03/30/the-perfect-grow-room-setup-how-to-harvest-a-pound-every-month/
Total cost is $1000 and I harvest once every month (up to almost a pound). People are going to disagree with this but you don't need a gorilla tent. I get the...
