i got a 400w HPS bulb. but what do i plug it into? its big and wierd. will it work in a regular socket that a standard incodesent and cfl fit in? dont want to get hurt and want to be safe. if i can basically "plug and play" that would be good. i then can swap my cfl and screw in the HPS...

i got it. went with two 42 watt CFLs cost me 6 bucks. can you say cheep and if my calculation is correct that is that almost 3000 lumens per square foot, that will work. thanks everyone for the help.

That is beautifull. man that is expensive for 1 ounce tho, here its 100-150. but its so dry around here. that setup you have is verry close to what i have. right now everything looks good. got my lights and everything now its all about technuique.

also how do i do the light cycles? i have them on 24/7 for now. so when do i put them on a on off cycle?

thats a good idea about planting outdoors. its going to have to be next fall till my setup(IE roommate). Just i already started this (spare of the moment thing, its one of those high stories) got high, talked about how dry it was around here and how hard it is to get bud this time of year. so...
