  • Use a powerstrip and socket to plug adapters, find some decent watt CFLs consisting of 6500k and 2700k and use a ratio of 4 6500k and 2 2700k bulbs on a 18/6 lightcycle for vegging, then 4 2700k and 2 6500k bulbs on a 12/12 lightcycle for flowering. Cheap low heat and works. The only thing I can say about CFLs is the more the better. The 300w is a nogo, too much heat and super bulky. Find some nice 23w bulbs and use as mentioned above, horizontally is best too.. search "beer can CFL reflector" here on RIU for an idea of a hood for the bulbs. Goodluck
I have a question about a post you made... You were talking about lighting and posted this link http://www.lowes.com/pd_46931-75774-...%3D2&facetInfo. I'm a broke mofo, so I can't afford any of these expensive grow lights or systems. All I have right now since I just started is a GE 65 watt blue plant light which worked very well and made my seedlings sprout very quickly. Would this light you posted the link for work well from start to finish?
I am a soil grower but curious to learn how you grew the plant. is there an airline into your container?? do you add nutes to water?? etc
