Just leave em b ...the roots will grow out of the buckets and get heavy enough to hang down...no need to force them...just let em do their thing...they know what to do! Best of luck!

I was growing in a closet that's 6ft x 3ft and I had 2 4foot 2 bulb ballasts at 6500k bulbs and my plants did very well...but of course flowering came and I threw a 400hps in there and was done ...fluoros are great for veging...I'm sure they'd work for flower...worth a shot...me personally will...

I was just in another thread and I stated that I did it with clones that were about 6 inches tall...just took em out and rinced the roots thuroughly and and was very careful with the roots...threw them in rock wool and 5 gallon buckets with 7 inch net pots and saw no I'll effects...within a week...

Won't that shock the roots? Water and ice is usually 40-44 degrees I believe ..I may be wrong but..40s seems a tad bit cold for roots

I've also heard that you can't take a plant out of soil and transfer it to hydro/bubbleponics but I did that with my 4 clones that weren't really doing anything and in a week the plants blew up with née growth and they look beautiful right now!!

I had my plants in jiffy pots and I just stuck them in rock wool cubes and then hydro ton in 7inch net pots...its been almost a full grow with no I'll affects

OK...so since you said the trichomes with still develop after harvested should you pay more attention to see how they react daily so you can harvest it so by the time they stop developing its at its peak?

Agreed! Haha I have done this before and there are a few ways..submerge it in a 1part glycerine, 2 parts water solution for a few days and it will change the protein properties of the leaf by replacing water with glycerine(like preserving snakeskin) another way is the wax paper method and...

Ok so I'm growing in a tent and have a 400 watt hps on 12/12 for about a week...growing some master kush and Hindu kush in dwc 5 gallon buckets...anyway...I was changing the water out of the buckets and my dog got to one of the plants and ripped a lot of the roots out and the plant won't hold...

I've been growing soil for some time and just this time decided to go sec after a little research because my clones werent doing very well in soil...I took them out of soil, put them in 4, 5 gallon buckets...put them in net 7 inch net pots, hydroton, tap water, general hydroponics nuts bio line...
