I'm pretty sure sativa may grow double or triple but indica only grow double it's size at most.

Try watering them and the leaves should curl back up. I am pretty sure leaves that curl down are a sign of dehydration.

Get a PH tester at a garden or maybe hardware store. The PH should be between 6.0 and 6.5.

yea my depth is maybe a little over 2 feet at most so I don't think I will top.

If you have plenty of head room say about 8 feet, would it be best to "Not" top the plants or "LST" them and just let them grow big and tall?

I'd love to buy an HPS even a 250-400 watt cause I'm only going to grow 5 plants max, but I am very paranoid about heat issues and starting a fire because I am at work 10 hours out of the day. Are 250 watt hps's dangerous like for fire hazards?

Go get some good spider mite killer / bug spray shit and kill those fuckers as well as you can. I am not positive but I heard Dr.Doom is a good spray for bugs on your plants.

That cardboard box idea sounds like a good way to start a fire with an HPS.

I was wondering if I could veg 4 or 5 plants under 2 42 CFL's that are 5100K?

Ok I am going to buy a 24 pack of CFL's 2700K which are 1600 lumens each which is 38400 lumens total and my room is 8 sq ft. So my lumens per sq ft would be 4800. Now all I need to know is this a good number for a 4'x2' room growing 3 or 4 plants?

CFL's would work better to veg those clones instead of floro's because the floros make your plants stretch too much, cfl's will make them more dense and bushy.

Also to save a little more energy would keeping the mother on 18/6 be ok?

Hey guys just wondering what kind of light I would keep one mother plant going under for clones? I was thinking maybe a couple of cfl's? but what wattage and should they be 6500K's or 2700K's?
