You should always calculate by volume, Say if you have a 2l column volume 1600/1800 ml should do the trick, any more and youre realy just asking to extract more undesirables due to longer contact time. I find my extracts come ut best when the material was just about shown the solvent.

Have u tested for residual butane? I could never get shit to wax up unless i messed around with it half purged, and heat for prolongued periods of time. Ive used same material to make oil and wax, I can be done with the shatter purge in around 4 to 6 hours and the wax will take me at least 36h...
