But you know 93 million mile ,or150 million kilometer (one astronomical unit ) is also wrong, because its the distance between the center of the sun to the center of the earth.(: :peace::peace::peace:

    Samsung Q-series strips

Funny thing is the thickness of the pcb . in the 1 and 2 feet its a 1.6mm ,and in the 4 feet its 1mm same as h strips, all copper pcb,i guess same like the f strips 1mm pcb

    Samsung Q-series strips

i think they are more comparable with h strips, but yes ,f strips win :bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:

    Samsung Q-series strips

don't get me wrong,i agree about having many strips is a pain in the ass,but i do grow some great weed with great yields on a ~192lm/w 4*8 (f strip) rig ,i grow 50-55cm plants 16 per 4*4 (half way scrog) ,so it depend on your method of growing. i dont agree that hi efficiency dont grow good...

    Samsung Q-series strips

thanks for this @tomate i think that if you go for a high efficiency rig they are viable option, since the are cheaper than f strips

    Samsung Q-series strips

hi at 19.7 watts and40c the q strips are 198lm/w (3500k) at 19.7 watts and 40c the f strips are 195.9lm/w(3500k) its a very small difference ,so it depend on the price Does someone carry them already ?digikey?

    F Series driver recommendation

@Prawn Connery http://www.wago.us/products/pluggable-connector-systems/connectors-for-special-applications/connectors-for-lighting-and-electrical-equipment/lumi-nuts™/ i used them before ,they work good, better to tin the stranded wire with them.

    F Series driver recommendation

@Randomblame ,@1212ham i just did a test with 4 feet f stripe and elg-150-c1050 The driver should be 1.0713A and current tolerance +- 1.6% ,i did not measure the current ,so take it as it is. the stripes went to ~74- 75c room temp is 27-28c ,no air movement,no sink.i used a fluk ir thermometer...

    F Series driver recommendation

because its double the diodes and more than double the sink/pcb .the single row is 18mm wide and the double row is 39.8mm,so they designed it with extra 3.8mm of the copper pcb for better heat dissipation . :peace::peace::peace:

    F Series driver recommendation

There are terminals with cover as well,i would still use the wagos ,its so easy especially if you light 4 strips and use the wago 5 ports, and perfectly insulated, not to mention there are no screws . I had several near fire with terminal screws on hps magnetic ballast's ,the natural wire went...
