Wow that is one really big bud!! What did it weigh at the end?
Unfortunately I already toped my snowcap about a month ago. Now the thing is a monster with 16 tops!! Just waiting to go into flowering.
I almost put mine in a smart pot as well but it wouldn't fit in my case, glad I didn't now :) ended up going with a 1.5 gallon pot that seems to be doing just fine. The plant is small but that is expected with that size of a pot.
Also does anyone have any experience growing snowcap? Got a half...
Once I noticed the tips were starting to show some burnt to them and the lower leaves were turning yellow at a fast rate. I did a full flush and 2 straight waterings after the flush before I resumed nutrients. I had to learn the hard way that with autos less is always more! I was giving them way...
Yeah mine started from the bottom and started to work its way up the plant. It was caused by adding to much tiger bloom that caused a nitrogen lock out.
My NL is looking good now 12 hours after feeding my NL 2.75ml of big bloom and a very small dose of Tiger bloom! Her buds have almost doubled...
She is looking really healthy all one nice shade of green, you should start seeing more flowers any day now. What kind of lights are you using?
I just fed mine tonight some ff big bloom and put her back in the case. I'll keep this post updated till I chop her down :peace:
It's a Vision northern lights auto that sprouted on June 10th, so almost 7 weeks old now. It was showing pistols as well at week 3 but I think I slowed down the bud growth by switching over to bloom nutes at the first sign of a pre flower and caused some toxicity issues.
Thanks for the reply Dr and for the information. I'm looking for this auto to be done with as soon as possible, so I can move my snowcap into the flowering case that has been vegging for 2 months. It just started to show pre flowers in veg and is looking fantastic. The auto was a great learning...
Update I haven't fed them anything since last Tuesday and was wondering if this much yellowing is normal for a auto in the 3rd week of flowering? Any comments welcome looking for any advice I can get. Thanks
Thanks for clearing that up for me, I totally understand how it is :bigjoint:
The NL is looking much better today not so droopy. I'm going to hold out for another day before watering and will wait till later in the week to feed. Any recommendations on how much tiger bloom I should be adding...
I was afraid of that being the case of to much P from adding tiger bloom 9% as soon as I saw a pre flower, I'll know better for my next grow! I'll cut back on how much tiger bloom I've been adding and just run pH balanced water for the next couple waterings. Some good info on zanders thread...
Also was wondering if anyone has any idea if these NL autos are a good size for being two weeks into flowering and if they will still have time to fatten up a bit.
Thanks for the information I'll lay off the water and nutes. I have the lights set to turn off durning the hottest part of the day and then turn on when the sun sets. I should of mentioned this is a pc grow so soon as the lights turn off the temps can drop pretty quick to mid 70s.
This picture was taken just as the lights turned on tonight. About a hour or two after the lights have been on they perk up. The tips do have a slight burn to them.
Thanks for the reply.
I did a flush on Tuesday but only ran about 1 gallon of pH balanced water through a 2 gallon pot, with a pH run off of 6.6 . After the flush I added a small amount of bloom nutes to supplement the soil.
Light setup is: 1 75watt 3band UFO, x3 15 watt led light rails 2band...
