So, the candy is really delicious, but there's almost no high. On my 4th piece tonight and there is barely any high at all. What a waste :( I did some reading though, and it seems like it was my fault, not the recipes that the butter separated.

Well, just finished making these about 15 minutes ago - and the butter separated from the candy when I got up to about 250-260 degrees. I still ended up pouring the candy into the molds, so we'll see how they work... but I've got a good bit of butter just laying around on my mold now outside...

About to start making these. I'll post pics when done.

Thanks. I haven't taken a really close look at it since I moved it to my 'drying facility' (family staying at the house...) but in the morning I'll look it over and decide what I want to do with it. Who knows, maybe I'll get a small amount of cannabutter out of the trim if it's not amazing.

I get it a LOT cheaper than I used to, so I'm not complaining about that. Just trying to figure out the best way to prepare it since he obviously has no interest in doing that.

Well, the grower I buy from is really kinda lazy. He doesn't dry the buds and leaves that up to his customers. Oh well, he gets me really good stuff. Well this time around the buds aren't even clipped. Should I bother clipping them myself or should I just dry them out and smoke as usual...

Yeah, that's the decision I came to as well. I just threw it all out. :'(
