    I understand that drivers are not 100% efficient. But I don't think he was asking about efficiency I'm pretty sure he was asking about meanwell drivers going over stated wattage. I'm on a phone so I don't type long winded posts .

    Meanwell driver are known to go over rated wattage. My hlg120 48a drivers pull 168 watts at the wall .

    My tent is 2×4×5 tent , lighting is 6 cxm22 3500k 90cri chips and meanwell hlg320h-48a 310 watts at the wall. I run 6 plants 2 gal pots on about 3-4 weeks veg till about 1 foot tall . 38-39 watts a sq/f I get between 52-60 grams a sq/f depending on the strain I'm running.

    I get those symptoms on leaves that are about 6 inches directly under a cob. If they are off to the side of the cob they can get about 4 inches away before symptoms show up. I'm running 38 watts a sq/f , upper canopy Temps are about 82°f humidity about 50% give or take 1%. I don't think it...

    How to lower temp in tent

    Making the drivers remote will help a lot with heat. I'm running 300 watts of cobs in a 2x4 tent and I have a hard time keeping my Temps up sometimes, gets up to about 81f and my exhaust fan is on low. Ambient room temp is 74. Hope you get it figured out man good luck.

    I have the same driver, turned all the way up it pulls 390 watts or so at the wall. Not sure of the amps it pulls.

    You will need to wire them parrell with that driver. Take a look at the luminus cxm22 chips a little cheaper than the 1818's and seem to be a little better. good luck

With proper cooling I don't think you will have a problem with thermal run away unless something is wrong with the chip like bad strings of diodes , that would cause it to draw a different voltage.     A lot of folks here run parallel setups including me. No problems . Just don't mix chips of different brands . You can also limit Voltage to the chips by adjusting the voltage on the driver. Good luck
