Lol oh don't worry looks like they broke you in already in the picture thread hahaha once you learn those ropes you are all good ;) You are smart and pretty so you will do just fine here !
you might be able to find it cheaper on amazon once you add shipping idk. I need to look into it myself cuz Im not going to pay my hydro shop $150 for it. I just bought another 1000w so i need more fans lol
yeah a lot of people make that mistake. They are good if you want to move air with no resistance.
you need to return your fan sorry. the 350 cfm goes to 0 when you put resistance on that dinky fan they have no power and are made to move air not force air. I thought you knew what I meant by inline fan this is a link to a inline fan with an unbeatable price I own this same fan and am buying a second. I have seen this fan sell for up to $150 http://www.horticulturesource.com/environmental-controllers-co2-generators-fans-blowers-duct-air-purification-c43/fans-blowers-ducting-air-conditioners-s32/ecoplus-ecoplus-classic-6-inline-fan-340cfm-p4535/?osCsid=05e7c52827ac330c5c5252c3d401e04d
Oh and make sure your tent support is not made out of pvc you want a metal one. The pvc ones break
Could you send me a link to the inline fan? Your getting the vented hood that you sent me the link to? That would be a good choice. Sounds like your set just want to make sure you are getting the proper type of inline fan.
grow shops are expensive. The grow tent would do nice if you are planing on having it in your main room not the closet. It will help use your light properly because it wont all escape you would get more reflection but tents get hot and they are hard to control the climate. If you use the tent you MUST cool the light like we talked about you could run the duct tube straight through one side through the light and out the other then have the inline fan blowing it through the carbon filter that way you cool the light and still clean the air in your whole room. make sure your fan is sucking the air through the tube and blowing into the filter. with the fan blowing it directly into the filter you will have your best least restricted air flow.
You won't find them at home depot. Do you have a local hydro store? Or you can order them from amazon cheap. Type in
however many watts. Ex: 1000w vented hood, 1000w vented grow hood. You will find them cheap.
I think the idea of vented the hoods would really help with heat, since one my plants did get heat stress when I moved I changed the lighting from a flourescent to the 400MH. It happened within hours and I had to raise the light up. I am more concerned though about the heat when it goes into flowering because then I want to use the 600W HPS. I have to figure this ventilation and temperature thing out, because when I increase my crop I plan on using both of the 400W MH. I was given these three lights, with digital ballast, thinking everything would be set, but I am finding out there is a lot more to it then lights and soil, lol.
I do not have vented hoods, no. I do have a home depot credit card. I will have to look and see if I can get a fan and vented hood there. Cash flow is a little right now.
If you want good odor control I would use a carbon filter and if you are in just a open room you could hook a 340cfm inline fan to a carbon filter and just put it in the room it will filter lots of air. Then just burn incense or have one of those timer air fresheners for the hall way. on amazon you can find a 340cfm inline fan for $50. If you have vented hoods for your lights you could run duct tube through your lights then to the fan and out the filter you will cool your lights and freshen your air.
Nice open space with air flow is best if you don't have security issues. your heat will be a lot easier to control.
almost as easy as your cordless drill and you can get hole saw bits for your cordless drill It might be hard to cut the hole if your drill is less then 18v
