My plant got helmet head because I planted it too low and I pulled the seed off. Is my plant OK?

UPDATE: http://m.imgur.com/8Yki9UP Obviously it was a helmet head, so I popped the seed shell off.

Wet the soil and put it in the dirt. Now we pray. I'm also getting 3 more seeds soon, I may not germinate those and do what monkey said.

Tysm Monkey Also, shit. I left it in the paper towel overnight and the taproot is an inch long.

I'm gonna leave my seeds in the homemade auto rainbox for a bit. Another noob question, but should I water the soil after I plant a seed?

Ty and I'm just really worried about it not coming out i've already taken out a seed that I planted. It gives me a panic attack lol

I'm a newbie to this, and I was wondering if when I was planting seeds, I put the taproot in soil but left the seed above ground so it wouldn't have to push up. Would this work? Quick replies appreciated.
