    I imagine it's up to the plant to do the wicking, the rockwool will stay saturated until evaporation occurs or there is a plant drinking up the nutes. I think the problem lies in not creating a proper seal around the carrot an air pocket from what I have read can cause run away or malfunction...

    Did you have any problems with the rockwool, looking at a blumat setup using rockwool, but have been told to rather use coco. Some feedback from you would be much appreciated, thanks in advance

    Has anyone tried this? Alot on coco and soil but not much on rockwool and blumats. Also how does the GH Flora hardwater nutes do in blumats, are salt build ups a problem or does drip clean take care of that?
