    another deficiency

Potassium toxicity can lockout mag and calcium. Light burn from the stretch? Raise lamps change out water lower cns17 ppm and add cal mag and micro nutes. Too much fulvic acid requiring too much p. Silicate to raise ph back is bad. Check your meter or just order a bluelab for $90; rare to have...

What decent fluoro tubes to use part-time?

40watt are not high output bulbs. Ok for seedlings - slow growth for everything else. t5ho uses electronic ballasts and smaller diameter bulbs. They will work if you can keep em 2 inches from the tops and some air movement. 8-11 bucks for cheap bulbs 22 or so for the aquarium ones. 54w must...

t 5 lights and overall measurments. thinking about buying switching over.

Outside is a great plan if you can get away with it. Keep topping so they are as close to the same height as possible. The nodes will be closer together under a t5ho and the stretch will be less if you bring em in before fall and switch to 12/12 on the fixture. They need air and if you can...

Is this everything I need for a Hydroponic tent grow?

Digital camera with good zoom will work instead of the microscope to see trich color.

    should I use a 150watt hps or a T5 light?

I paid $90 for a 2bulb 4' with a decent ballast. You need more height and ventilation or CO2.

    should I use a 150watt hps or a T5 light?

Those small hps have the ballast built in and that puts out heat too. The 2' T5ho are not 54w the 4' are.

    Tech Comparison (MH vs T5HO)

Lighting have you tried using t5ho thru the stretch and the using hps?

    how much longer?

Congrats, What did you use for light, ventilation and feeding? Dry her in a cool dark area with some air flow. Weigh when the stems are dry enough to put nugs in a jar and burb it to cure.

    how much longer?

I would if it works out but it's not a big deal. She may start to drink as the lights come on and that means a little longer to dry. At least pull any fan leaves off that made it through. Do you have a digital camera with a good lens and zoom feature? That will let you see amber Trichs too...

    how much longer?

It takes 10 hours of light to make THC. So the end of the light cycle or just before lights on when she is through sending sugars down the plant. But really the time is when she is ready, the smell will lessen in senescence as she gets ready to die and you have a window of several days before...

Hydrofarm Active Air 4 inch In-Line Fan 165 CFM

Panasonic FV-20NLF1 240cfm 1.4 sones (low decibel 25 maybe) 55watts. Can only hear it when in the room with insulated flex duct cfm drops a bit and a bit more with carbon filter. But no muffler, no speed controller and no air moving sounds along the duct. $140 from wholesaler.

    what would you do

I would say no, not a ton better, maybe zero or worse. MH efficiency increases at higher wattages same with HPS. Ceramic Metal Halide might be the best, but T5HO are 92 lumens per watt and can be kept an inch from the tops with a fan on em. Perpetual grow, the more stages the closer to harvest...

19'x23' inside DIA. 8' ceiling. There is no insulation, bare framed 2x6 walls.

Oops I see 4 600w not one. Still not enough to light 437 square feet. Temps will be a factor say 80f for clones, 85day and 70night for growth. Do you have an A/C unit?

19'x23' inside DIA. 8' ceiling. There is no insulation, bare framed 2x6 walls.

Beenthere is right insulation keeps the noise down as well as temps. You have light for 10' x 7' though. So if you don't want to insulate the entire space you could use insulated foam board and build 2 rooms. Just depends on how cold it gets, their R factor is way less than 19. Pull air in...

    what would you do

Mother and clones = 2 different heights. T5HO can be kept within an inch of your mother with a fan on it. Use a second one if the mother is taller than 18" then raise it as the clones grow.
