I'm growing in a 8x8-10x10 area inside a room 13x13 I can only do what I can. Light loss will be kept to a minimal if I can adjust to the footprint of the light.
Nvm the 600 uses a slate 5 extrusion board. I wonder why the recommend footprint in flower on the square 550 board is 4.5x4.5 or 4x5 and the rectangular 600 boards recommended footprint is 4x4 to 5x5.
The 600 uses different driver with extra 100 watts, if I want to upgrade from the hlg 480h driver to the hlg 600h, will they share same mounting holes?
Sorry I didn't think before making this thread. I'm going the led route because my 1ks are heating my grow space up too much. So with 9 cobs @ 50 watt each I will be looking at roughly the heat of a 400 watt hid?
