  • I didn't get the Blue Venom. Getting an international money order, or Western Union in Euros was a pain in the ass.
Instead, I got seeds out of Vancouver BC (Mango, Purple Widow, Blueberry, The Purps, and Juicey Fruit)
Hey i remember awhile back I had mentioned you should try the g13 labs blue venom then recently saw that you had made the purchase and decided to go with. How are you liking it so far? Ive had a ton of success with it and hope its treating you the same.
I used premade activated carbon filters. You can get them at most pet stores in the tropical fish section.
I took out the filter that came with the unit, and used these instead.
They come two or three to a box, depending on what size you get. I found that
putting them inside a nylon stocking helps trap the fine carbon dust that tends to leak from the premade filter.
(The carbon is more fine than the mesh bag it is put into.) so this helps keep them less messy.
You can then also form the entire filter to fit the shape of the units original filter without much trouble.
Hey, I saw on a thread that you used a holmes HEPA purifier and that you put your own carbon filter in there instead. Where did you get the filter or how did you make it? Do you have a link?

No need to apologize, it doesn't particularly offend me or anything... it is just one of those things I vividly remember coming from Hicks. Comedy is tough and it's especially difficult to be entirely original.
I often wonder how musicians are capable of producing original music without subconsciously regurgitating parts of any songs they've heard in the past. It is extremely likely that similar predicaments follow other writers/artists including stand up comics.
I think Bill Hicks was very funny too.
Although i can't remember every bit from every standup bit i've ever heard.
I apologize if it seemed like i was giving Mitch Hedberg credit for a quote that obviously
    isn't his.
As far as George Carlin being inspired, or ripping off Bill Hicks, i think if you look at Carlins 60s and 70s
bits, you'll see if anything Hicks got the f the norm, f the system attitude from guys like Carlin, not the other way around.
No one guy has the market cornered on funny.
Thanks for the info, and i really do agree, guys like Bill Hicks had it right, but guys like Carlin had it right
    a lot earlier.
To the best of my knowledge that quote was originally stated by Bill Hicks; "I used to do a lot of drugs. I mean I still do, but I used to, too". I have the entire act on the DVD 'Bill Hicks - Live'.
He was one of the greatest comedians to have ever lived (and died, in 1994 of pancreatic cancer), and is unfortunately largely unknown by today's masses. This makes it incredibly easy for other comedians to rip off his material, and even his entire persona in some cases. Watch clips of his performances and you should be hysterical, disgusted and aroused simultaneously.
Then you'll realize where George Carlin and Dennis Leary got half of their jokes.

HAHAHA I love your signature. Reminds me of something George Carlin would say :) Thanks for the laugh :)

Most times i keep my plants tied down the whole grow. I've never had any problems
doing this. Sometimes i'll move buds around and tie to different points, depending on
where more light is needed. Most times i end up having to prop some buds up due to the
weight. They start to sag below the canopy, away from the light.
whats up man quick question, im doing low stress training right now and i've tied the branches down, how long should i keep them tied down?
Hey thnx for asnwering my question Ive asked a lot of questions but people just dont wanna answer back. I have a 250w Hps and i wanna put some CFLs in there but theres so many different types so what type should i get? And will it raise the heat a lot? (its a flowering closet BTW)
