what would be the name and/or brand of the very best, top of the line, cost not an issue MH and HPS lamp that you guys would get? got a setup already just lookin for bulbs.

thats what i figured but i read so many people hps it the whole way through. i tries cfls but it took so many small ones and the big ones created too much heat for my fan( cpu fan, keepin it stealthy). eventhough im using the 250w ballast, im only using 150w bulbs( adjustable wattage ballast)...

tittle says it all kids. im getting a lematek 250w E-ballast and i was wondering if i should start with mh then use hps to flower or hps the whole grow? they say the ballast handles both types.

just an update on tri-pod.. still alive and lookin good.

i know im way late on this one but it need to be set straight from someone who works with electric. leds themselves do not get hot. the heat is produced by the electric current running through the fixture. remember, most times your converting ac to dc and that conversion alone creates heat...

id go seperate. i had a 400w with a built in ballast and it vibrated the metal reflector a bit. not to stealth.
