    Dry ice wet extraction questions....

Hi There, I have been doing 5 gallon bubble bags for a while and have also been using a bubble now. What I want to do is try something a little different this time. I do want to use the bubble bags and 5 gallon buckets but instead of the washer, I was thinking to use dry ice to let it get the...

400 or 600 watt HID for this tent?

I have run a 600hps in a gorilla 2x4x7 and I did move a lot of air through it but I would not call it windy because I still needed the little 6" circulation fansto get a little leaf movement. As for the vent fan, I went from a 6" Vortex fan down to a Panasonic whisperline 6" (the smaller, 240...

help - pH rising and scum bubbles on surface of water

Well, I cleaned out the tank today and what a stinky nasty mess that was. Had to scrub hell out of the tank and all components. For me, the blackstrap molasses is not worth the cleaning hassle so I will skip it from now on since I am already using Boost. Otherwise I just follow the Canna guide...

Quiet. The Neighbors Can Hear You (Sound Control Thread)

Damping the round cylinder might go a long way. I can even hit a resonance with the tank just speaking normally in the grow closet. It can be heard resonating through the tank.

Quiet. The Neighbors Can Hear You (Sound Control Thread)

I made little video of the co2 tank noise. I think I will pursue the two ideas mentioned and see how hat goes. I tried throwing a blanket over the tank but that did not help much.

    Power Consumption / Light Cost

Hi folks. Cool sticky thread. As a noob here, I would like to offer up a night time wattage video I just made. I have been growing for a while but just stepped up my game in terms of electronics. The Kill A Watt PS was a welcome device. I have my entire (admittedly small) operation plugged into...

First run with co2 tank - questions

Hey gang, Doing my first run with a co2 tank and a fuzzy logic controller (controller of any kind - I have used fermentation and mushroom buckets before). Wondering if you more experienced folks can help me with a few questions. First off, I wonder if there are higher quality regulators that...

help - pH rising and scum bubbles on surface of water

Thanks again. Looks like pH and the foaming have stabilized. I think it was just the first day or two that I mixed the tank when things got a little wacky here. Still, working with the molasses is sticky business.

Anyone use cat litter in a bucket for odor and humidity?

Excellent. Thank you for posting this. I had been looking for a DIY ONA recipe. :) I think this stuff can be purchased at the local orange box.

    Timber growlight question

Cool. Thanks. That is a 39w (~10% of my LED max) Sunblaster with the latest reflector widget. The bulb is a reptisun 10.0. I picked up a couple of them during the holiday from petco on sale for a killer deal. I think there are better UV bulbs but not sure what they are. I saw a GrowMau5 video...

help - pH rising and scum bubbles on surface of water

I may still have some shock laying around from when we had a hot tub. I need to learn more about this. Seems so easy to get some shock down at the 24 hour grocery store in a pinch. Are you shocking RO water or tap water?

    Timber growlight question

Cool. Thanks. My lights on max wattage for the entire system is 505 watts. That includes the COBs at full blast plus the two Panasonic fans going plus the Ehiem air pump and the circulation pump. Add another 4 watts (509w total) if the irrigation kicks off. You see a higher peak wattage ~640w)...
