  • Quick mention that I have purchased a ph adjusting kit and have checked ph, it was at 8. I've lowered it to 6.3-6.5 and flushed.. My ? Is should I still go w the lime will it benefit plant if there's a deficiency or is it to just straighten out situation I'm in now? Younger leaves are definitely starting to get dark outline and look weak! Growth was stunted b4 watered w ph water but look as if starting to grow again but still dark outline on leaves
OK, ya that's fine. Crush up a Tbsp or so and sprinkle it on top of soil in each plant then water it in good.
You won't see a change right away, but it will help lower your soil PH.
Do your normal watering habit of letting the soil dry out between waters, but water more (quantity) than you normally would to help dissolve the lime.
Do you have more than one plant per pot? It kinda looks like it, and I also noticed the plants seem to be off in the corner of the pots.
Both are not good- if more than one plant per pot, they will intertwine roots, and also compete for nutes in soil. When they are off in a corner like that, the roots can only grow one direction and not give good stability when the plants get larger also.

I bought 2 packs of this stuff for $6 back beginning of Sept, and am still on first pack.
I only give this, every other water, and a tsp / gal of molasses every water now.
