Blimburn Silver Surfer Haze Seedling Pics & Problems

If he's using the same Jiffy as I do, it stays roughly at 6.5 PH out of the bag. Pretty stable and reliable if the water going in is in the ideal PH range. That's if it has the lime included in the mix. My Jifffy Seed Starter has Shagnum peat moss, vermiculite and dolomite lime.

best lighting, for grow room using a dual reflector using CFLs

Cool reflector. Well, I'd recommend two spectrums, as you said. That way, your plant gets the closest thing to "natural light" as possible; the plant will respond better to that.

Blimburn Silver Surfer Haze Seedling Pics & Problems

It's tough to tell what could be the culprit on first glance. What kind of light setup do you have shining down on it? Could you post pics? Looks like what could be heat burn, but at the same time, looks like some other strange anomaly...caused by possibly overwatering. I use Jiffy seed...

    Blue Mystic Update

Looking very healthy and green!! I heard good things about Blue Mystic, interesting looking plant during veg. Haven't seen any in the shops around So. Cal though. Anyways, good luck on the grow! Sub'd..

best lighting, for grow room using a dual reflector using CFLs

Do you have any pictures of the reflectors you plan on using? Sometimes, the design of the reflector can matter more than the spectrum of light you are using.

    Regular Seeds

My first grow was with two bagseeds. One was a male and the other died before it was sexed. Lol. Here are the ratios of getting males to females. 1 seed = 50% change of male or 50% chance of female More than 1 seed = luck of the draw.... You can get more seeds to increase the odds, but it's...

    Will this work???

It should work! Keeping in consideration, that after two weeks, a plant will usually has more foliage and will have a greater light requirement....to keep the growth pace up and to avoid unwanted stretching. Guess it all depends on how you setup the lighting inside of the grow tent. Will you...

    Nutrients?

Of course I'm biased with my answer, but if you want to keep it simple, and low-cost...I say go Dyna-Gro all the way! I use the Foliage Pro 9-3-6 for both veg and flowering (along with epsom salts and molasses) and my plants couldn't be happier. Good thing about it is, it's good for hydro and...

    How am i Doing?

Looking good there! If you don't mind my advice, you definitely don't need the sunflower seeds. If you want to promote root growth, you can just allow your medium to get a bit more dry in between each watering. This will force the roots to start moving around a bit, in search of hydration and...

Yes, it's very cool. I love the CFL section! Hopefully we'll be seeing a grow journal or two from you here one day? :-)

    Stealth Grow Box Design Complications

No problem! Is the flowering room closed-in? Or do you have windows, etc for air to come in? I'd say, if you can ventilate the flowering room passively it should work? Unless the heat buildup would be too much. Or unless you don't have windows, etc.

    Stealth Grow Box Design Complications

Hey there, Funny, that's the same site I got a "cheat sheet" from and my very first beginners info when I started growing weed last year! I am sure you won't need an active intake. I'd assume you will only need an intake that is twice as wide as your exhaust fan's size. I could be wrong about...

    cfl bagseed 120w cupboard

Rather nice sized-pot you got there! I'm sure that plant is gonna get pretty big! So far, so good. Since you're using starter soil, it's about time for some nutrients. The bottom leaves are showing signs that the plant is perfectly ready to be fed. Do you have any nutrients on-hand?
