Some of the weakest little plants in the beginning, have turned out fire for me. Not that there is any correlation, just that slow vegetative growth doesn't always mean a week plant in the end.

I get them on my rose bushes. I found them in the cotton that was blowing all over. Sometimes in June it piles in driveway edges and fences like snow. I think the mites are opportunistic and landed on the plant. nothing bothered it again after that.
