FYI: this seems to be working. I rinsed off the roots, pulled off any dead, brown material and place them in a spray/aeroponic cloner. One seems to be bouncing back. The leaves have filled out again and stood back up. I’ll post any other improvement

My guess is that there are not any leaks through the PVC. I will take a scrap piece and try to see if I can get any light through it. But as you see in this pic, very little direct light reaches the tower.
