  • -If I have a warehouse and I am growing 99 plants, I need to have at least 17 non-growing patients under my collective (as per the 6 mature plants per person guideline in CA)
-If I have a warehouse I need to notify local authorities that I am having a growing operation
-If I have a warehouse I need to make sure it is far away from schools and children
-I need to log the hours I am working at the warehouse for tax purposes, and declare a dollar amount for my salary
-Declare my taxes as one normally would with an accountant based on this amount
-Announce that I am growing medical marijuana to the IRS when I pay my taxes (?)

    Some questions I have:
-Won't notifying local authorities about the operation give them the right to contact federal authorities?
-If the warehouse is being rented how will we announce the operation?

Thanks a lot and I wish you the best,
    Alex
Hey I saw your post in the forum "All You Care Givers Out There, Do You Pay Your Taxes?" and I'd like to hopefully get some more info on it from you. I am currently in a collective that is going to be opening a warehouse in Southern CA, and I do not know if they are going to be taking all the procedures you mentioned into consideration. I'm not sure if they are even going to be paying their taxes. I'm a little concerned because I want to work there at the warehouse and help them grow but I want to be protected under CA law. I am going to try and get as much information from them as I can, but first let me see if I can re-iterate what you said in your post.
