I try to harvest when they're real perky. Generally midday, the afternoon if it's cold out.

If the leaf is in the way, move it...bend it over, tuck it under, bend the branches, etc.

Harvested this Critical Neville's Haze today. Not as frosty as most posted here but it only got 3 hrs direct sunlight per day so I am satisfied with how it finished. The ratty leaves are from the freezing weather.

That photo clearly shows what you're talking about, thanks, and for the harvest info too. All the strains I'm working with are new to me and after smoking test buds I hate that argument going on in my head, "that's good enough to harvest" vs "it might get even better"

Very nice poplars, those are some gooey looking buds. Love that one can super super size the photos. I studied the trichs looking for ambers and don't see any. Will you share your thoughts about trich maturity and harvesting sativas, indicas and crosses? Thanks again for all the wonderful photos.

I agree it's probably a P def...they've seen a lot of cold. A dozen or so nights at freezing or below. one night down to 27, made tipis of bamboo and row cover and used jugs of warm water under the tipis. This is the only plant showing purple of the remaining girls: 4 Dr. Grinspoons, Hawaiian...

Harvest after the full moon. The moon is full on the 29th. Harvest on the 30th, the moon is then in aries, best sign in which to harvest. Perfect harvest date.

Hi Rizzo. Both of these angles showed preflowers by the end of May, started building little buds but then changed back to vegetative growth. They doubled in size and now have been slowly budding for 4/5 weeks. They may finish in 10 weeks of flowering but I'd guess longer. These are very sativa...
