    CO2 Bad for Resin Production?

Found a little High Times article that breaks it down a bit... http://www.hightimes.com/read/cultivation-clinic-co2-can-increase-yields-40

    CO2 Bad for Resin Production?

So resin has a broader definition than I knew. Really, it's the terminologies and crap that really throws me off :D Still, production of concentrated chemicals or "resin" should only go up with augmented carbon levels.

    CO2 Bad for Resin Production?

Hello Gamberro. Resin is just smoke residue that coats the inside of pipes, it's not something directly produced by the plant. I'm going to have to assume you're referring to body and mind altering chemicals other than THC that are often produced by hemp, such as CBD. Plant life is the polar...

who has grown with other light sources in addition to cobs?

I have not yet grown with cobs, but I've grown with just about everything else. My LED panel works fine, HID lights are inefficient as hell but make up for it if you go vertical (600w+ will grow the shit out of a small to medium grow room, just keep it from getting too hot), and you will get...

    600w HPS/MH vert + full spectrum , hydro & soil

I have combined gardens and equipment with a friend, currently altogether we have a 600w HID ballast shared by a HPS and MH bulb, Galaxyhydro 300, 54w t5 vegging 15 chronic plants and flowering one. The plant in flower is a male durban poison plant about 5 feet tall from soil, currently...

    small setup bunch of questions

Lots of good info in there. The...

    small setup bunch of questions

Doesn't matter if plants share rootspace or airspace; as long as none are males or hermies there can and will be no cross-pollenation possible, thus no accidental cross breeding of strains. You should be able to get by in veg with just the p600 panel, from what I read, seems like it would be...

    Unconventional Organics

I always ash joints and bowls of weed and cigarettes in my soil, and joke that I'll never run out, lol. Also I usually have alcohol brewing in my grow room to add airborne co2. While urinating on one's plants would be a great organic way to add nutrients to the soil, it seems like it would make...

IF you are new to LED and want help choosing what to buy, POST HERE!

Yeah mostly looking into DIY COB right now, although I'd be happy with a better LED assembly than I currently have or an HID vert setup if either one turns out to be more affordable or cost effective. And cross lighting with multiple of the above options seems an ideal goal for now.

Can someone list some benefits of vertical growing?

Exactly ttystikk, I'm thinking the more light sources/lumens the better. HID lights have been producing weight for decades, but implementing some cooler, high-efficiency cob watts in addition to the HID seems the optimal setup right now. Was looking at those this afternoon, they look badass...

Can someone list some benefits of vertical growing?

Dr. G, about the reg coming out females, same thing happened to me while growing a mixed crop. All the reg came out female while most of the chronic bagseed I've planted has been hermaphroditic, generally due to the fact that only chronic plants that are hermaphrodites produce seeds, which in...

Hey, those cob assemblies look pretty sick, Fiete. Nice find. I wonder how those prices convert over to dollars...

    GSC & reggs in approx 2' x 4'

As luck would have it, I realized just hours after chopping up my hermies that my larger reg plant already had pollen sacks so there's no use: pollen has spread, so I'm now running a pollen factory :/ That said, I'm able to take in hermies now from other growers, such as these two large reggie...

    GSC & reggs in approx 2' x 4'

Both of my chronic plants in flowering turned out to be hermies, decided to harvest them early and do what I can to save the rest of my garden, consisting of a medium sized and a small reggie plant in flower and 6 bagseed chronic plants in veg.

Harvesting at 3.5 weeks flowering... :/

Decided to chop em & cure early, no sense putting my 8 other ladies at further risk, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't have a room full of plants to continue flowering them properly at their house. Check out the root structure on the one that was in the 5 gal!
