Hempy is definitely nice if res temps prevent one from running dwc. Less equipment to run and I definitely use less nutes with hempy over dwc. Now if only I could figure out a way to do a scrog in my tent with the hempys. hmmm.
Nice looking grows! I had to ditch my DWC for hempy due to epic root-rot battles. Hempy is great though. Nice to see the side-by-side of the DWC and hempy! I'm staying tuned.
Thanks man. I'm using a 48" x 24" x 58" tent. Its a tight fit, but a fairly even canopy.
Have a grow journal? I would like to take a look at yours. Since I showed you mine haha. That didn't sound right.
I water about every 4 days. I had a bit of a nute burn problem with my tahoes, so I...
Right on. Thanks man. Looking forward to the harvest. I have been using Dutchmasters One nutes for veg and flower.
Thanks! Hempy referes to a passive hydroponic method of growing, whereby one uses all perlite or a mixture of perlite and vermiculite as growing medium. It works fantastically...
Three weeks into flower. Blue dream, Tahoe OG, and Blueberry. First time using hempy buckets. I was using DWC but res issues forced me to switch. Growth gates with hempys seem very comparable to DWC. Using 2 gal buckets.
Lights: 400w hps + 150w hps
I agree with sniffer. You are going to want to have your fan hooked up as exhaust only. The suction created by the exhausting fan will great back pressure and cause fresh air to come in through your intake ports. This gives the air inside your grow chamber a nice path to follow--- i.e. fresh air...
Check out the post I made a couple of weeks ago for pics of what your plants will start to look like once in the tent..

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up... A couple of months ago I purchased a white-lined grow tent from eBay. Ever since I started using the grow tent I have lost 4 plants and had tons of nute lockout problems (despite having the proper pH). I did some research and it turns out the PVC (from...
Just wanted to update... Turns out the problem was with my grow tent. I purchased one of those cheap, white-lined grow tents from eBay and couple of months ago and have had nothing but problems. Turns out the PVC on the inside of the grow tent was treated with a chemical to help make it...
My guess is that you gave her too much nutes. Hard to tell without a picture, but if everything was fine before you gave her the nutes (assuming everything else remained constant), logic would dictate that the nutes are the problem.
You said you already gave her a flush... how much water did...
