Hey sis I think its the 154- 880nm inferred led that is giving the light therapy its magic. So no I don't think you would benefit from sitting under it. Now plants that's another thing all together
I was thinking my setup would put out 210w but will it not put out 240w with the hlg 240 driver

I like to run my vero29 around 100 watts that's the sweet spot. with the 2 vero setup like I was taking about running a HLG240 will boost the wattage to about 260 watts or 130 watts per cob that's too high imho
I'm trying to understand a pots. I've always used a 100k. Fine. But installing a pot is just putting a resistor in the mix. Now on meanwell (A) driver pot is built in. So what pot to use 100k?

Brother any spectrum will bloom however I really like the 4000k and my next build will be with the 5000k. I believe the 5k will keep my sativa dominate ladies manageable in height. Now keep in mind that the vero 29 4000k has as much red as the 3500k cxb cree
Dawg, your vero 29 bars look very similar to what I'm currently trying to build. Can you share the details of your power supply for the fans and how they operate with me please?

I used a Meanwell APV12-12. I just wired the black to black and red to red. I put some liquid electrical tape on the blue and yellow wires before I heat shrinked them. 1 APV for 4 fans
hi dawgie, I started a thread.. in the LED section called Copperhead 100 watt LED in a closet.
Can you please sub to it and help answer questions that I'm can answer at this point.

Hey Dawg I was looking to getting an area51 led for a 3x3 tent my goal is to pull 8 oz could u tell me which lights from area51 will pull this off
Lets look at what 8 xgs (190 watts) come out to in square foot.Your gorilla is 5x9 so thats 45 square feet your lighting. So 8 xgx=1520 watts / 45 square feet comes out to 33 watts per square foot. Now with 8 sgs (155 watts) =1240 Watts/45=27 watts per square foot. Now you see your only gaining 6 watts per square foot or a total 270 watts over the entire tent which seems like alot however just remeber that your spending 280 watts per hour. grow tent has 15 square feet and I have 2 sgs 310 watts which comes out to 20 watts per square foot and Im hitting some awsome numbers with it.So its up to what you want to go with.I myself have 2 xgs comming and I plan on putting them in my tent which would give me 25 watts per square foot.In short I dont know where the fall begins to where your just wasting light but I'd say base on my experience with these new tech led's that anything over 30 watts per square foot is wasting electricty.Hope this helps ya out brother. I was looking at your A51 grow and I wanted to ask if you thought 8 xgs-190s would be too much for a 5x9 gorilla tent? I'm new to LEDs and just thought I would get an option of an experienced user. I appreciate ay feed back.
I saw in a recent post u picked up a new all white led. Are you going to keep both your Area 51 lights? I want an a51 light but they are just a little out of my budget.
