    What’s happening to my bud

    Looks like bud rot.

What's your favorite dispensary and why should that dispensary operate in every legal state?

Dispensaries are hype machines. They consist mostly of posers. Some of them might even believe their own hype. There are no special effects to getting high on weed. If it's good, ripe weed, then it tastes and smells good and you get stoned when you smoke it. All this "up" and "down" "couch lock"...

4 days of drying and my buds are crispy and crumble upon touch

I agree with the drying advice 100%, but there are some advantages to using Grove bags for long-term storage: They don't take up much space....They aren't fragile....They shield against UV rays....They can be heat-sealed. The technology has been around for quite awhile in the food industry. The...

Could A Light Be Too Much?

Get a couple of these LINK and put one in each tent. After a couple days, check the high/low readings and compare the two tents to see if there are any discrepancies.

Could A Light Be Too Much?

If it's just that one tent, then yeah, it might be the light. What are your canopy temperatures? You might have one light that's running hotter than the other....just a guess.

4 days of drying and my buds are crispy and crumble upon touch

Well, the whole auto flower thing is new to me. It's a different plant. It doesn't look or grow the same as classic marijuana. I can't really comment on it. It's usually associated with younger people. I'm old and I prefer the old, classic photo period marijuana that's been used for smoking for...

4 days of drying and my buds are crispy and crumble upon touch

Okay. Sorry, I don't encourage anyone to grow auto flower stuff. It's a different plant from the classic marijuana. That's why there is a separate section here for auto flower stuff. I can only speak on/give advice about photo period marijuana. I'm going to bow out. Good luck.

4 days of drying and my buds are crispy and crumble upon touch

How big/dense are the buds? It's going to vary depending on the plant, but you want to shoot for at least 14 days of 60/60, in general. It makes a big difference if you jar them too early.

Why buy an expensive grow tent ?

I've always used tents because I need to use the space for other things when I'm not growing. My 11-year-oldtent was supposed to be a good one (at the time) -HydroHut Silver Edition, but it isn't up to par with most of the newer ones. On the other hand, I have a Gorilla tent, too....Too many...

What would you pick led or hps?

I'm not sure. But, I guess I'd do some experimentation. I can't get close to knowing what conditions that every cultivar out there would thrive under but I think it would be fun to screw around with ideas. I'd probably start out with something that looked like MH color and then start adding or...

What would you pick led or hps?

It's impossible to do controlled tests when the subject is as variable as commercial marijuana. You'd have to have just one cultivar and test it over and over. And then what good would that data be unless there was only one cultivar of commercial marijuana? Having a light that a grower could...

What would you pick led or hps?

It might lead to better lights and better weed if the light manufacturers start to make lights that have programmable and separate channels for each color band. That way, growers could simulate the way the Earth's atmosphere changes the colors of refracted sunlight according to weather and...

What would you pick led or hps?

Water droplets and water vapor are part of the atmosphere, too. I just posted the pic for a reference as to what the atmosphere can do to Sunlight. If you want to disagree, then that's fine.
