This is my first grow and I've been using CFLs and I love them I got one plant in a 3 cubic foot area (due to the fact my other 2 plants were male). I average about 3 inchs every 24 hours and I'm using them for flower right now and the seem to be doing wonderful, I would Def say go CFL!!!

I'm using 8 CFLs, i got about 15000 Lumen for her, she sits only about 4 inch away from the lights, I actually have one more question Is it safe to cut off the leaves and their little stems i see others do it so i was just wondering???

I got a female and she's 2 weeks into flowering. When i first started flowering her she was about 7 inchs and now 2 weeks later shes hitting about 21 inchs, so i average about an inch every night. But i only have 11 more inchs til she hits the top i was tryin to keep her shorter and fatter but...

I'd say start flowering, I started flowering mine at one foot, and i hear that a lot of people start flowering around one foot also but it's really up to you.

Theres not a possible light leak you can't even tell that theres anything in my box setup I used somedoor frame foam and even with all the lights off in my house and all the lights on the in box there not a signal of light coming from the box
