hi im just wondering if i water my plants everyday with 6.2 ph why is the ph run off lower? its i think at like 5.5 5.8. im growing in a soil-less soil sunshine mix#4. can i just raise the ph of the water in the resivoir higher? like maybe ill make the water 7.0 and this will raise my soils ph...
and also do i focus on the ph of the water im feeding it or the run off? because i do put in nutes and water in my res and make sure the ph is at 6 but i checked run off and it is lower. should i make it so the run off is 6? or is it ok?
i use sunshine mix #4 i think its a soilless soil lol i think thats how u call it. ive looked it up before and it is soilless. i seen in the grow faq it says soil and soilless should be around 6. but i also heard bout what ur saying too ochack. so what do u think?
my run off is too low. its at 4.9 but the water and nutes in the res is 6.0! can someone tell me is there another way to bring the soil ph back up? can i just add more ph up in the res to raise ph of my soil? any help will be great
thank you doctor v for the info. i have a ebb and flow style system with 1 gallon pots of soilless mix (sunshine mix#4). is that considered a hydroponic system?
is sunshine mix#4 a soilless medium? and that meants i should go by hydro ph right? or should i still be at soil level ph because it is a soil? any help is welcome
