Yeah, that's my fault for procrastinating. I was considering getting a couple but I guess I learned the hard way. Still trying to get the curing process just right and the big buds threw me off.

So as I checked my jars today I noticed some of my bud had mold. They've been in there for about 5 days and I just noticed today. I chucked all the moldy buds I found. What happens to the other bud that was in the same jar? I didn't see any mold on the buds but could they be contaminated just bc...

I use the hlg 260xl and I keep my light about 12" away from my plants and I haven't had any light burn issues.

Most of them did but it was close to harvest so I just chopped them. I'll have to see how it turns out.

ph was right around 6.5 from runoff I have a tds meter for ppm. Can I use that on the runoff as well to see what the soil is sitting at? I've only used it to check my tap which comes out around 120ppm. Never checked water with nutes or runoff.

I've been reading up on organics these last few weeks and plan on making a super soil for future grows. I like the idea of maintaining a healthy soil and just letting the plants do their thing. I've been doing this for a little less than a year so I'm still learning a lot as I go.

I just got my QB 260w XL kit yesterday! It's very bright and I'm not having any heat issues like I did with the Vipar600 or HPS. I'm already happy and I'm sure I'll be happier when I see the results.

I used the Viparspectra 600 for my 2nd grow, still learning. I had some bagseed, 2'x4' tent, finished in 3g smart pot. Ended up with 63.4g. It wasn't great but it smoked better than mids. Definitely wasn't frosty at all and the bud was pretty fluffy/airy. Again, I was and still am learning so...
