Growroom Questions!

Hey This is my first grow i think that my plants are doing well. they are Northern lights plants. I have a heater fan in there. and another fan in there. I Have t5 24 watt each bulb lights. i moved the lights up a little so they would get bigger. The seeds i bought were feminized. So i wouldnt have to worrie about male's. I also have a bucket and a gallon full of water for Co2.

I have a couple q's.

1.If i got these plants 4-5 feet would i have a big Harvest? as you can see my closet is pretty tall?

2. What fertalizer should i use on these plants (look at the pics of my babys please)

3. how much should i water these plants?

it looks like a decent setup, as far as getting them up to 4-5 feet thats probobly going to be stretching it. flower for about 4 weeks and then switch to 12/12, plants indoors usually dont end up being monsters, especially if ur just using a small space like a closet

Well they arent growing to fast. do you think 3 feet would be decent in that closet plus i want to keep cloning so i wont have to continue buying seeds. When i clone do i put them in the flowering room Right away for 12/12. also when i start flowering i have a 400 watt hps light so i think ill do pretty good thanks bro! reply back!

1st.. streching your plants will not produce more bud!!
your better off havin it small and cramped with bud.. nutes are chosen by
what ppl recomend!
i dont grow in soil so u would have 2 ask some1 else bout that but mostly used are (canna..bonticare etc..)
and watering should be done when the soil is dry down to about 2-3 inches..
hps is the way forward!! and no let your clones veg for a bit

as far as cloning goes, if u can separate the closet to the best of ur abilities to give urself two room's keep ur veg room as the smaller one and the flower room as the bigger one, that way ui can grow urself somewhat smaller plants in the veg room; including ur clones. Then have ur plants in the flower room when its time to switch to 12/12. If ur going to be constantly sticking clones into 12/12 right of the bat ur not going to be getting very big plants because ur clone will start flowering at a small and fragile state

Okay thanks man i didnt know that that. So i guess i need to Split that closet in half. Actually Im really baked right now and just thought of the best idea ever! That closet is a little tall and my pants are going to get that big so why dont i put another shelve on top of that and harvest on top of my vegitative room and just put a black tarp over my vegitative room. Would that work?? :fire:

1st off soil looks a little dry. 2nd i can't belive no one said just because you have fim. seeds their is a chance of males still. 3rd the busher the plant the bigger the yield due to more bud sites, but tall is good also. she looks good and green

yeah im growing to grow them bushier because right above that in the closet im going to put another board. And move all my plants up there. Thats going to be the vegie room. Ill put a black tarp over it. then ill have the board in the picture for the harvest Surface. I just watered them they where a little dry. Thanks man Get back to me! what should i fertalize them and The site i bought them off said they were 100% female ratio?

monsters can easily happen indoors its not where its grown its how and for how long
so many thing wrong here i dnt know what to do other than to direct you to the grow faq

and to the op, dnt worry bout your gehtto co2 setup buy lighting and read around, what you got wont get you far

water untill you got like 20% runoff and dnt water again til its good and dry

there are so many fertilizers out ther your gonna have to do some research and make a choice

read posts journals and the grow faq and all your questions will be answered

its best to grow more small plants than a few big ones.... you have to light the whole plant not just the top

Yes I decided To Just get them very bushy but what do you mean IT wont get me far i have a 400 watt hps light im just using the t5's for vegie? Well i was going to put up another board above the vegie room and make a harvest up there so it would be like a 2 storie growroom =]

word i didnt see where you said you had a 400w hps, even than you wanna keep em small top em fim em or lst somthing to keep an evan canopy so the light is equall distance from all the bud sights

1 foot away from the light 10 inches from the ceiling 1 foot for the pot the plants are in thats almost 3 foot without a plant so be sure to leave room.. veg to a foot you could end at 2-3 ft high so thats 6 foot and than how much is left for this clone shelf... space fills quickly better to have too much than not enough

well those plants have been growing for about 2 weeks now do you think that they will take off and start getting bigger in about a week or what is normal??

i would suggust you use your 400W hps for veg too bc those 2 flouros just wont cut it. They will likely take longer to grow during this stage if kept as is. I have 2 flouros (not t5's) and 5 CFL's.

i like how you put them in large pots from the beginning. you can transplant them to a bigger pot after vegging is completely done, i'd say.

how old were they in the pics?

I took the pictures yesterday Is there a type of light i should go get right now I dont wanna spend over 50 dollars on a light for my vegie i just want it to work out and get em goin fast it. Thanks give me info!!

oh i forgot to answer the questions you answered initially. for fertilizer, a lot of people would use a 2-part solution- one for vegging and the other for flowering. combos can be using advanced nutrients' Iguana Juice Grow and Bloom, used along with Big Bud. Or some essential Fox Farms nutes along with Big Bud. A lot of people say Big Bud the THE SHIZZNIT. So i think you should give it a try. I've never had a chance to use it before tho. I heard Sensizym is good too. I'm using miracle gro ($5 from walmart) but its not the best solution.

so how long have they been growing in total?

Metal Halide would probably be your best bet. Never used it though but im pretty sure it will fit in your hps ballast.

i just looked at my lights there ace 40 watt it doesnt say t5 or anything it just says ace 40 watt and a whole bunch of serial numbers. so 2 40 watt bulbs. And they have been going for about. hmm 2 weeks?
