Advice from Northeast (Maine) outdoor growers....

How do I save my year?

Hey RIU mofo's, hope your grows are going better than mine! I tried logging in under my old account but apparently it had been a while and my account was deleted. Anyways, here's my problem....

Apart from my legal grow, 24 plants I'm growing under mine and some friends licenses, I had my regular guerrilla grow that I've been doing since the mid 2000's. Same spot, never lost so much as a plant, never noticed a single hint anyone has ever been near it except for animals on one of the many game trails that criss cross the area. That is no longer the case. I went in yesterday and every single plant was either trampled, ripped from the ground or just plain gone, save for the stalk. It's like a herd of Sasquatch beasts attacked the area and it's singular mission was to destroy my plants. Incredible Bulk, Midnight Oil, Sour Kush, MOB, Donkey Dink, Black Domina and my own strain OG Kush/Skunk x MOB 4x. 50+ plants in all were destroyed. Ultimately, it's my own fault. I slacked off on my preventative measures and now I have to pay the price.

So.... has anyone in this neck of the woods ever popped seeds THIS late in the season? Anyone ever taken cuts off outdoor plants and started that way, this late? I really can't afford to go buy 50 established clones right now, but I may have to if I want to stay on course. The murdered plants represented a big chunk of the $ I need to expand my indoor grow to a full time gig, allowing me to ease up on my body that's been destroyed from near 30 years in construction trades..... so doing nothing isn't an option lol

I've put clones out late before, but that just meant they vegged longer inside. I've never gone out in July with 8" clones and I've never popped seeds in July, for immediate planting afterwards. Hopefully, some of you have and you'll have good things to tell me! loltimbo.jpg timbo.jpg timbo.jpg

Nah, no land owner.... I know the land owner.
Yeah, I just made the call, saving me 24 MoB and some Lemon Skunk and another friend giving me dozen Auto Skunk seeds I'll have to replace. I may pop some seeds as well, plant in my movable pots close to the garage in case they don't finish before frost. IDK.. it's been so long since I've lost anything, I got complacent.

Since I'm in NW Florida, I would be no real help on the length of season question. {although cuts is the answer} But I had to stop by and say I love your name. And speaking of cuts, this is a good one.

I know it is harder work, but spreading out my plants into smaller patches is one form of insurance against losing everything. I've got about 70 odd plants scattered to hell and back in 10-12 patches. A bitch to tend to, but I like my odds of getting some kind of harvest.

Good luck with which ever way you decide on.

Depends on strain some finish in time. I'm still putting sprouts out of a local strain with confidence they'll finish. (Northern Michigan) but clones would be your safe bet. I suggest next year plant Iranian short season now known as Iranian auto. Very fast plant with good potant yield. If you come into problems like that again it's a good go to strain

Lol.. I do the same. And yes it's a bitch lugging 10gallons to each patch. But you sure get good exercise and a harvest
