A house is a good buffer, an apartment seems more difficult to control.
Yeah. When you own a property, you can rightfully boobytrap it and do the necessary work on your home to install them. Not so easy in an apartment. The landlord will probably notice the power tool marks in the floor when they're the size of a punji pit.

Do you have to buy special underwear for your enormous balls?
i can top that if u want

i also brew moonshine here ........well i did but ppl kept doing dumb ass shit and blaming me so i stopped ......ppl can not handle their drink they should not be drinking moonshine and most certainly not mine ( i put it out at 140proof so it worth it 1 shot of mine is 2 shots of store gotten....it hits u harder with no sugars in it ) but no they are all tough guys we can handle it ........not my fault u fucked her or put your car in the river or set fire to your house .....i warned them i told them to cut it with a soda do not drink it strait

only reason i can is because i make it .......i have to test it i am use to it i know what it does (it is not a good thing i can drink anything under 150 proof like water now)

Ballsier than them if they were to raid me. AMF.
I've had cops in a couple of my grow rooms. But I'm growing legally. They were most concerned with whether or not I had guns. And making sure I wasn't cooking meth. They didn't even ask to see growing paperwork the first time. They actually showed up because a neighbor called the cops thinking someone was breaking into the barn where the grow is (I was working at night in the room). The second time was at a different property. They came to serve a year old warrant to a guy who lived there previously that was growing illegally. Each time turned out fine though!

Still. Better safe than sorry. In raids, 4 man teams stack closely on a doir, door man kicks in, first man enters path of least resistance, second goes the opposite way, third follows first, fourth follows second, interlocking sectors of fire. All are quickly trying to exit the fatal funnel.

So, just dig a punji pit at the front door inside, and only use the back. Like butterflies in a bloody net. :0

Yep, I definitely never opened up without asking for a warrant. And I only let them in because I felt safe. To their credit, the cops in these situations were actually very respectful. They even said the grow was one of the nicest they'd seen :)

That's chill. If only.. Maybe soon, though.

Unfortunately no. Power outage would be bad news in an apt. It's happened in my house during flower and within a couple hours the entire house smelled.
I can vouge for that. One power outage and your screwed unless you keep a couple deep cycle batteries charged and an inverter to run your scrubber.

Plus smell gets out of my grow cab every time I open the doors. I had a cheese strain so bad I had to take some plastic and build an air lock on the front of my cab.

A secondary scrubber would work in the room the tent is in.

I wouldn't even attempt unless you had a backup and maybe a second backup to run the fan and filter.

I have a New York Diesel mother that I can only flower a few plants from at a time because the smell of it is so strong. It over powers all the other strains. I run two carbon filters, and co2 (I've heard that helps smell but I don't know for sure about that) but if I run more than a few of them at a time you can still smell them outside.

Lol. The cheese I had to run double filters and the power went out and made the house reek.

Those pungent strains I like I can't grow. Too much risk.

I definitely push my luck, but like I said the police aren't a concern for me. Neighbors that might rob me are a bigger concern. But I live in a quiet neighborhood with my two little dogs with a well kept yard. I try to make it not look like a growhouse. I've been lucky but always stay cautious.

I have two appartments and I grow in both..

If you have good setup you shouldnt be worry..
@Rasta Roy What size filter do you guys run? What brand? What cfm do you calculate per cuft? How often do you replace your filters?
.

4x4x7 tent...

4in intake + outside filter (air stop)

6in filter -> HPS cool tube -> ducting to filter box outside tent -> 8in filter into filter box -> 8in exhaust fan speed + controller

Filtered inside tent before cool tube then outside tent in filter box before exhaust fan. Trying to use only negative pressure.

This be a "good setup"? Would like to pump exhaust through floor vent to distribute heat to unit... How much smell will I be dealing with worst case scenario?
