Barneys farm - pineapple chunk (cab, LED, DIY waterfarm)

so finally got around to completing my cabinet last weekend, i have tried to keep it as stealth and quite as possible while still trying hydro.

Lights - 65w hans panel & 2 x cbx3950 72v 3500k around 75w each
air - 4 inch inline fan and filter
pot - DIY waterfarm, I'm using a water pump instead of an air pump,
nutes - GH flora nova bloom only

Scottyballs pineapple express grow is the inspiration for this grow i will be happy with a quarter of what he can pull.

i going to be using the gas lantern light schedule for veg, i have read good things and will hopefully keep the plant a bit shorter and more controllable and maybe flower slightly earlier, but we will see.

i put my pineapple chuck seed in wet paper for 2 days and it cracked, i was going away last weekend so i put it in a rockwool cube and left it


came back yesterday and it had just broken through.


i am currently only using the seedling setting on the hans panel think thats around 35w.

i am away for the next 5 days so will update again on friday.

im just finished running the pineapple chunk,all,the best lad,100 days flowering,no shit.nice smoke but not worth the time.very slow to grow mate but each to there own,all the best mate

100 days flowering is poxy i dont know if i can wait that long was hoping for it to be finished by xmas, i know there are a few different phenos out there ill just hope for a more indica dom strain and hope it finishes around 60 days like barney says! i think the 25% thc is worth the roll of the dice ha

i don't smoke a lot to be honest i can take it or leave it I'm more into the actual growing and the led / hydro technology than anything, it'll be in jars for a long time anyway ha, id just like to have a few different strains to choose from.

The first pack I got of it was all indica and a 60-70 day flower. Was knock out bud! Ever since then I tried to buy more and it was all sativa. Couldn't even finish outdoors. I hope you get the indica too.

This has a 55-60 day flowering time. How did yours go 100? Seems weird that you said others were all sativa. How it that? Just because of flowering time? Answer doesn't make sense reading it can you help me understand it and explain that answer to me please?

Mine did the same thing. The indica doms are short flowering and the sativa doms are long flowering. Depends on what dom your seed will be.

Ahh damn well I hope I got the Indica Dom seeds. Specially since my patients will need to know. Where there any indication as far as leaf size?

You can tell from the time it's a few weeks old. The indicas have super round overlapping leaves while the sativa has skinnier very jagged ones

ye mine is sativa,bitch of a plant,100 days if you want good smoke make,60 days is not enough,trust me find my tread on pineapple chunk,i dont give bad advice or lie to anyone,no need just here to help if any1 needs it,heres a tip mate,easy on the nuits,she dont like to much.loves ph7 neutral water k,o'h and a cold shower on leafs and buds when shes around 60 days budding,if ye have any questions dont hesitate to any,happy growing mate

Defoliate the fan leafs at 60 days aswell,buds will boom out.

Ok cool my leaves are fatter than those for sure
So I think I got lucky

yea lee, everything uv said is exactly what i have been reading that its a really unstable strain which is a bit annoying thats an awesum plant all the same, nice fat buds!!!

Mr clone i have seen a grow with round indica looking leaves but it shot up to be a lanky sativa and took 100 days plus so we wont know till a few weeks in to really see what we have but i have heard of ppl finishing this in 65 days so im hopeful.

Also mine will go under a screen regardless pheno type.

AHHHH right after I started feeling like I got lucky haha. Well.... crap.. ( Crosses Fingers )

how ye lad,heres a tip get the barneys blue dream auto seed,she will be done from seed to smoke in 10 weeks no shit.nice smoke aswell mate. Beware tho she will grow 6 ft+,buds as long and as thick as your arm did i mention how nice the smoke was

day 7 from seed,

looks to be stretching a little bit so i will put the light on full power when i get back, and i might replant it a little bit lower into the hydroton. i will start adding the flora nova bloom in 3 days.

I usually slap em with nutes as soon as the first true leaves appear.
