Amendment 69 and how will it affect me?

For those of you that are not familiar with our liberal polices here in Colorado, there is an amendment for universal healthcare on the ballots it would raise our taxes 10% but everyone would have healthcare. This would probably cost me about 4,000 or more a year working full time.

Doesn't seem like much but I never get sick "knocks on wood" and me being from Texas, I don't believe in big government.

Would this amendment disgard the need for Obamacare?

I have no clue, I have never had unemployment, medicaid, food stamps or any government assistance other than free food and housing at county jail.

Seriously, I'm voting for it. While I think it is a long shot, I also think that once the average person understands they actually have political power, it's going to snowball.

But first it has to pass.

i don't approve of it because it does not cover women's health issues. that said, i am voting for it only because i know it will lose and want to fatten the numbers for it.

Wouldn't it be easier to pass it and then amend it to fix that aspect?

All political power comes from a gun.

Your idea or candidate wins = others are forcibly molded to your views.

Their idea or candidate wins = you are forcibly molded to their views.

That's an asinine collectivist system to embrace and simply moves around who gets to hold the gun and use it on others.

Why are you so interested in using a gun to run others lives for them ?
