I live in Tampa and I've been researching on this myself there are a lot of stipulations that inhibit the average guy with good credit and knowledge to open a shop and one is 30 yrs experience in owning a nursery well if you don't qualify no permit

The 30 year thing is for grow ops for low THC cannabis from the bill passed in 2014, not for Amendment 2. As of yet we do not know who in fact will be able to grow, operate a dispensary, etc. However, knowing this state the way that I do, I would assume the worst. I'd rather be able to do what I love, cultivate, than have to move away from my home state. As it looks at this point I'll probably have to seek a state with friendlier laws to someone who just wants to grow for a small group of other people as a caregiver, not looking to make any sort of big money. I just love growing.

Major issue in OR I heard of is dispensaries are flooded with so much medical farm grows that growers are just trying to pay for shelf space. Growers having stuff lab tested and can't move it.

But I'm in Tampa also. Wondering when the dispensaries will open up.
