yes....your arm will get tired.
Come on, really. It's not that bad. I can press 1 bag about every 2 mins. Just don't raise it more than you need. At least with a manual, YOU decide how much I I tial pressure to put on the medium, vs hoping you release the button before it gets past that initial point.

I think that all depends on how much you are doing....

I have RA myself. Reason why I use a trim machine.
it was worth it to me....I'm 60+ years old with arthritis
I'm 42.with a rare form of RA myself. Reason why I use a trim machine. My hands don't wanna do what my brain tells them to. When I think about it, my brain acts like I'm 21, but my body, my body says otherwise. Sorry, had to bust out in a song for a minute.

Does the trim machine make it ready for the press? If so what brand?

Got the 4X7 lowtemp plates today and everything is assembled. I need the silicone pad and the best parchment paper for pressing bud. Any advice is highly appreciated. Otherwise I'm going to the grocery store for what I can find.

My first press with six girl scout cookie buds on Kirkland parchment. Harvesting the oil from the parchment looks to be the bottleneck I thought it would be. Really nice looking pure uncontaminated oil.

about 2lbs of untrimmed Candy Train buds being pressing into 1oz pucks for rosin squishing..

I've read all 9 pages and want to thank you for the documentation and pictures, awesome thread.

I have one question, if you can press pucks and squish those, is there a reason I couldn't press my trim and sugar leaves?

I use a spin pro to prep buds and it knocks quite a lot of trichomes and sugar leaves into the bowl as it spins, I'm wondering how well I might do skipping the dry ice hash part and just pressing that trim into puck and then squishing it directly?
with a 20T press and LowTemp plates?

You'll be pressing alot of contaminants into the oil that way imo, reason people don't do that. Turning it into kief first eliminates that and you are pressing product only no contaminants....Im sure @doublejj will chime in but thats why I suspect its not done that way....
