how to i keep my grow tent warm help

I have a 8x8 grow tent in my basement and it gets cold down there and i have a fan blowing fresh air in how should i keep my tent warm

Don't keep it warm. Keep it in the 70's.

I grow in a basement to. I recently cut the bottom of my cab out so the pots were on the cold concrete. I put a couple pieces of scrap insulated panels under the pots.

That is the main thing. Keep them off the cold floor and insulate pots.

What are your temps?

well my basement gets cold and if I'm blowing fresh air into the tent the tent will get cold what should i do

Maybe move them upstairs?

i can't so is there anyway to hook a heater up to the inline fan blowing in fresh air or should i just get a space heater and keep the whole room warm

Can't bring warm air from up stairs down into the area?

no heat in the basement and it get really cold down there

Move em or heat em.

only a problem at lights off i assume? you need to regulate the air flow. speed controller and or timer. and or something like this

also use a small space heater in the tent. one with a temp sensor and dial.

any will do, as long as it has a thermostat.

see the problem isn't heat but when i blow fresh air in from outside the tent where it is cold

is there anyway to hook up a heater to a fan

could try put a space heater behind the fan your using to blow fresh air in

Plug your heater into this thermostat https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000E7NYY8

Set thermostat to 75 and press "hold".

Place 2 gallon size jugs of water in front of your space heater to function as thermal mass so that when the heater turns off, they continue to radiate heat.

It's better to active exhaust and passive intake for your air.

Run a flexible duct and create an intake somewhere in your conditioned space. If it's comfortable for you, your plants will like it too. It should be a passive intake if possible. Those fans are noisy.
