Hello.

I'm having a problem with this nirvana blue mystic thats been in flower for 1 week.

I have done a few grows in the past few years and never run into this.

what am I seeing on these leaves?

Its only affecting 3-4 leaves on the plant and I dont know what it is.

Its growing in organic soil mix and fed with a top dress of earthworm castings and fox farm tiger bloom.. then molasses on non nutrient watering days.

any help plz?

Nutrient Burn
really??? Everytime I have seen nutrient burn it has always started at leaf tips for me.

It is only affecting 3 leaves of lower growth.. all of the very new growth "flower stretch" is unaffected.

Regardless I'll give straight water next time.. but.. It must have fixed itself due to my new growth being perfect.

People gonna be mad at the blurple pics. Just sayin.
Too annoying to move the plant.. haters gon hate but I love LED's and they're the only way I wanna grow.

I get pretty fantastic results by combining a cheap-o 60$ 180 watt ufo and a mars 300.

and shit bro.. if you click and zoom in on the 1st pic you can see in great detail one of the leaves im talkin about.

cheers brother hope u had a good weekend.

Yeah? That's a nice looking plant if that's what you're running!

thanks brother .. I'm trying.. that ufo is also only 90 actual watts and has 2 burnt out diodes.. I'm looking at anywhere from 232-348 true watts of LED.

its the cheapest product mars makes.. the original mars 300.. it has 5 watt chips and is 132 actual watts.. you can buy them all day long on amazon for 79$ shipped

with my cheap setup (mars 300 and 180 watt ufo) I will only do 2 plants at a time.

I usually do this... run an auto in a 5 gallon bucket and next to auto have a photo period strain.

I finish off the auto then the second auto is done I switch timer to 12/12. it works for me .. I need to start another real soon and I will.

I have a few seeds to choose from. speed seeds diesel auto .. simply female seeds honey haze or reserva privada OG 18

Also guys I cant lie. I have never in my life ph'd my nute solution but that will change.. off amazon I just bought GH's ph kit and I also got fox farms sample pack. that sample pack is only 20 bucks and it comes with a little bit of grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, cha ching, open sesame and beastie bloomz.

The way I figure.. You should step your game up every grow till you get to where you wanna be.

could be. thanks for the help brother

I've used molasses before, I think I added it to a compost tea and only applied it maybe once every two weeks...

If your microbes aren't metabolizing those carbs and sugars then that molasses is gunking up your roots.

So, you could be looking at the beginning of a root issue, stemming from overuse of the molasses. Just my $0.02.

strocat, what jdmase was trying to say is please take pics in white light, not LED, cuz it's difficult to see exactly what going on with your plant in that purple light. the color of leaves is important to helping diagnose your problem. take pics in white light only please.

Taking pictures with lights on makes it so no one can help diagnose your problem. Its not hate on leds. If you want proper help either take picture at start of lights off or move plant out of light.

well I dont run organics so I think next watering I'll throw a tsp of hydrogen peroxide in my water then water. that helps with root rot etc.

I think this plant will be the best I've ever grown. last night I said screw it and spent 50 bucks on amazon.. I got fox farm big bloom, grow big, beastie bloomz, cha ching and open sesame then I also got general hydros ph up and down and ph tester.. For the first time ever I will be able to ph my nutrient solution to 6.5

I have never ph'd anything on any of my grows so im hoping this will help me out. I also only ever used tiger bloom so I think the cha ching/beastie bloomz/open sesame and big bloom should help things out alot.

perfect too because its just now week 1 of flower so a great time to use the open sesame.

thanks for the help guys
